Meet Our Staff

Dr. Saiyad Ahmad


Saiyad S. Ahmad, the Clinic Director, has a Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine (2002) and is Board Certified Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist. Despite also having Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Biochemical Engineering from Purdue University and working as a Project Engineer with a Fortune 500 company, he decided to make a career change in 1999 and pursue his passion of helping others. He realized the power of natural healing methods when he used them to help his own autoimmune thyroid condition and helped family members. Saiyad loves meeting new people and believes in closely listening to patients. He believes in not just managing symptoms but treating the person as a whole and addressing root causes. His qualifications include:


Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from the Dallas College of Oriental Medicine (2002).
Board Certified in Acupuncture (NCCAOM), 2002
Board Certified in Chinese Herbology (NCCAOM), 2002
N.A.E.T. Certified Allergy Specialist, 2003
Took “Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice” course (over 40 hours of training), Institute for Functional Medicine, 2018
Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemical Engineering from Purdue University (1994, 1992)
Received private training in Homeopathy, Ayurveda and Unani Medicine
Recipient of U.S. Patent No. 5798132, 1998
Worked in the Physical Therapy Department at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas (2002).

Madiha Sharif

Hijama Practitioner

Madiha, proficient in both Hijama Cupping Therapy and Phlebotomy, initially worked as a phlebotomist but found her true calling in hijama cupping in 2012. As one of Dallas’s first female practitioners.

Shannon Roberts

Office Assistant

Shannon Roberts is our Office Assistant. She loves everything related to healthcare and helping people. She plans to go back to school to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse. She is the mother of three beautiful children who are her absolute joy.
